Project Description
Versus Teatre is a production company that creates shows since 1980. It was born with a clear purpose: being innovative and creative. Being raised between the Institut del Teatre in Terrassa and the Center of theater in Granollers, Versus Teatre became established with an aim of research, creation and fostering of contemporary Catalan authorship.
In addition, having a dramaturg in the company, Ever Blanchet, it always has eased the adaptations, as well as the release of new texts. The last production is Mercè Rodoreda en el triangle de París, premiered the 20th of July 2023, in Teatre Gaudí in Barcelona.
The staging sights the harmony between the voice, the movement and the word, adopting the same language and complicity of all its members. Starting from a nude stage space, the light and plastic arts surround each other to recreate the right atmosphere and the ideal staging.
Mercè Rodoreda en el triangle de París is back on stage on November 9th 2023, in Teatre Gaudí and kicks off the tour of this show.
